message of the month
Dear clients and collaborators,
I am excited to share an important milestone in Aerocardal’s history: the acquisition of the new L410-NG, a state-of-the-art aircraft that strengthens our fleet and further positions us as leaders in executive aviation in Latin America. This aircraft, manufactured by Aircraft Industries under the Czech parent company OMNIPOL, represents a significant advancement in efficiency, capacity, and technology, enabling us to offer an even safer, more modern, and reliable service.

Our L410-NG, starting its journey from Europe, will embark on a trip across multiple countries, with one of the highlights being its presentation at the prestigious NBAA 2024 event in Las Vegas. During the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), taking place from October 22-24, this aircraft will be part of a select group of aviation innovations, positioning itself as one of the most cutting-edge models on display. This event serves as a unique platform that brings together the top disruptors and aviation experts who are redefining the future of air mobility.
At Aerocardal, we remain committed to offering our clients the best air transport solutions, and this new aircraft will not only enhance our capabilities but also strengthen our strategic alliance with OMNIPOL. Together, we are determined to take executive aviation to new heights, with more sustainable and efficient operations and advanced technology like the Garmin G300 Glass Cockpit, which distinguishes the L410-NG.
I would like to thank our collaborators for their ongoing commitment and our clients for their trust in us. This achievement belongs to all of us, and with the L410-NG, we are preparing for an even brighter future where we will continue delivering excellence on every flight.
Ricardo Real – CEO Aerocardal.
Industry news
The recovery of the global airline industry.

The commercial aviation industry is recovering quickly and approaching the levels observed in 2019, according to the latest Bain & Company study on air traffic forecasts.
According to the report, demand in the first quarter of 2024 exceeded pre-pandemic levels, and by 2030, global revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) are expected to reach 11.4 billion, equivalent to 136% of the volume achieved before the Covid-19 crisis.
The report explains that, in general terms, a slightly improved macroeconomic forecast raised expectations for flights in North America by 3% compared to the previous quarter, which corresponds to an increase of $4 billion at the current exchange rate.
Flights within Europe increased by approximately 1%, generating a little over $1 billion in revenue, and most of the growth is expected to come from southern European countries such as Turkey, Spain, and Italy. Bain & Company estimates that there will be significant growth in intraregional demand in Asia, with a 55% increase between 2019 and 2030.
Todd Inman will be the keynote speaker at the National Safety Forum at NBAA-BACE.

J. Todd Inman, the 48th and most recent member of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), will be the keynote speaker at the National Safety Forum of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). This forum will take place during the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), held from October 22-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Inman joined the NTSB in March 2024 and will share his perspective on the current challenges facing business aviation. Mark Larsen, NBAA’s director of safety and flight operations, expressed his enthusiasm for Inman’s participation.
“We are pleased to welcome Member Inman to this year’s National Safety Forum and look forward to his insights on the most pressing issues affecting business aviation, as well as new avenues and opportunities to further enhance operational safety,” Larsen commented.
Chilean Air Force plane departs for Lebanon to repatriate Chileans affected by Israeli offensive.

This Sunday, the Boeing B-767 of the Chilean Air Force (FACh) took off for Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, with the aim of repatriating the
Chilean citizens affected in that country by the Israeli offensive, which has left more than 2,000 dead in three weeks.
“The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense, in coordination with the Chilean Air Force, inform that today, at 1:31 PM, the humanitarian flight mandated by the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric Font, took off from Santiago heading to Beirut,” the Foreign Ministry stated in a press release.
The aircraft, which departed from the Pudahuel Air Base of the FACh, in addition to “bringing back our nationals affected by the conflict in the region,” also “carries a load of humanitarian aid, including contributions from the Government and the Lebanese community in Chile, primarily consisting of medications and medical supplies,” the Executive Branch detailed.
At the moment, the number of people returning to the country on this mission is unknown. “The number of passengers on the aircraft will be reported once boarding is confirmed in the coming hours,” the statement adds.
Former minister defends the purchase of fighter jets to protect the Chancay Megaport amid potential tensions with Chile.

only neighboring countries. In this regard, he stated that “we must be prepared to defend what is ours.”
Jorge Moscoso, former Defense Minister of Peru, justified the announced acquisition of combat aircraft by the government of Dina Boluarte. He mentioned that it is impossible to think—in terms of national defense—that Peru has “friendly countries,” emphasizing that the upcoming inauguration of the Chancay Megaport will affect the economic interests of neighboring nations like Chile.
“We live in a regional environment where we, the Peruvian State, have no friends. The concept of ‘friendship’ does not exist in international relations; no matter how much one may say ‘we are friendly countries, allied countries,’ it does not exist. What we have are neighbors. Those neighbors, just like us, have interests, and what a state should do is protect and defend its interests,” Moscoso stated in an interview with Exitosa Noticias.
