Message of the month
Ver en EspañolEach season brings new challenges and opportunities, and at Aerocardal we begin this period with a renewed drive to bring our passengers closer to destinations that inspire and amaze. The high season for tourist charters is one of the most intense moments of our operation, where planning, coordination, and teamwork come together to offer tailor-made flights designed to showcase the best of Chile and the region.
Our 2025–2026 operation will take us to places that stand out for their natural and cultural richness. We begin the season with routes to San Pedro de Atacama, a unique oasis in the world’s driest desert; Puerto Natales, the gateway to the majesty of Patagonia; and Pucón, renowned for its adventure and outdoor activities. We are also strengthening departures to the Salar de Uyuni, one of the most breathtaking landscapes in South America, in addition to connecting our passengers with iconic capitals such as Buenos Aires and Lima.
This year, we are also incorporating routes that live in the imagination of millions of travelers: Machu Picchu, a world-famous historical landmark, and Easter Island, a destination where cultural heritage and nature come together like nowhere else. Every flight has been meticulously planned to ensure efficient and comfortable operations, fully aligned with the Aerocardal standard, where safety, punctuality, and dedication define every stage of the experience.
For us, it is an honor to be part of these journeys that allow travelers to discover new territories and cultures. Each itinerary represents an opportunity to showcase the dedication of our team and the quality of a service designed for different types of passengers, from families to companies and organized groups.
Let’s continue building new horizons and accompanying our travelers on routes that invite us to explore, connect, and keep moving forward together—always with the conviction to fly a little higher every day.
Sincerely, Ricardo Real – CEO Aerocardal

Santiago Airport held its Second Sustainability Fair, an event where various companies and institutions presented initiatives focused on environmental care. Among the highlighted projects were recycling programs, efficient waste-management strategies, and new solutions aimed at reducing operational impact. The event seeks to showcase best practices and promote a more responsible airport ecosystem.
The fair strengthened the airport’s commitment to sustainability, bringing together actors from the aeronautical sector as well as public and private organizations. In addition, sustainable mobility tools and technologies that support cleaner processes within daily operations were displayed. This gathering is becoming a key platform for driving environmental innovation within the national aviation sector.
Chile and Spain strengthen operational cooperation around the C295 maritime surveillance aircraft
The Armed Forces of Chile and Spain have strengthened their technical collaboration to enhance the operation, maintenance, and training associated with C295 maritime surveillance aircraft. This joint effort aims to standardize procedures and improve operational efficiency, particularly in patrol, maritime control, and search-and-rescue missions. The cooperation includes experience exchange, logistical support, and capability modernization.
Thanks to this reinforced bilateral partnership, both nations will be able to improve interoperability in scenarios that require international coordination. The agreement also promotes the development of new predictive-maintenance practices and the training of specialized crews. With this, Chile consolidates its regional position in aerial surveillance and the protection of strategic maritime areas.
Chilean Air Force conducts successful medical evacuation (EVACAM) from Rapa Nui.
The Chilean Air Force carried out a high-complexity aeromedical evacuation from Rapa Nui to the mainland, transporting a critically ill patient. The aircraft was specially configured to provide advanced life support throughout the entire flight, allowing the patient to remain stabilized in the air. These operations demonstrate the country’s ability to respond to emergencies in isolated areas of the national territory.
The mission was conducted by a crew trained in specialized medical procedures and coordinated with clinical teams on the ground to ensure a safe transfer. This type of operation highlights the importance of air connectivity for remote communities and the fundamental role of the Chilean Air Force within the national rescue network. The successful execution reaffirms the high standards of the country’s aeromedical service.
Naval Aviation stands out in the Chilean Navy’s coastal navigation operations
Naval Aviation took an active role in coastal navigation exercises organized by the Chilean Navy, contributing observation, patrol, and reconnaissance capabilities. During the operation, the aircraft carried out tactical support flights that expanded surveillance coverage and improved the assessment of maritime scenarios. The activity strengthened joint operational capacity between air and naval units.
The exercises also included coordinated maneuvers to assess response times, communications, and logistical support along the coastline. This training made it possible to evaluate the efficiency of current procedures and refine cooperation techniques between surface and air units. The participation of Naval Aviation reaffirms its central role in protecting maritime space and supporting national security missions.
