According to the report, demand in the first quarter of 2024 exceeded pre-pandemic levels, and by 2030, global revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) are expected to reach 11.4 billion, equivalent to 136% of the volume achieved before the Covid-19 crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n

The report explains that, in general terms, a slightly improved macroeconomic forecast raised expectations for flights in North America by 3% compared to the previous quarter, which corresponds to an increase of $4 billion at the current exchange rate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Flights within Europe increased by approximately 1%, generating a little over $1 billion in revenue, and most of the growth is expected to come from southern European countries such as Turkey, Spain, and Italy. Bain & Company estimates that there will be significant growth in intraregional demand in Asia, with a 55% increase between 2019 and 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n

J. Todd Inman, the 48th and most recent member of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), will be the keynote speaker at the National Safety Forum of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). <\/span>This forum will take place during the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), held from October 22-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inman joined the NTSB in March 2024 and will share his perspective on the current challenges facing business aviation. Mark Larsen, NBAA\u2019s director of safety and flight operations, expressed his enthusiasm for Inman’s participation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chilean citizens affected in that country by the Israeli offensive, which has left more than 2,000 dead in three weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense, in coordination with the Chilean Air Force, inform that today, at 1:31 PM, the humanitarian flight mandated by the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric Font, took off from Santiago heading to Beirut,\u201d the Foreign Ministry stated in a press release.<\/span><\/p>\n

The aircraft, which departed from the Pudahuel Air Base of the FACh, in addition to \u201cbringing back our nationals affected by the conflict in the region,\u201d also \u201ccarries a load of humanitarian aid, including contributions from the Government and the Lebanese community in Chile, primarily consisting of medications and medical supplies,\u201d the Executive Branch detailed.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the moment, the number of people returning to the country on this mission is unknown. \u201cThe number of passengers on the aircraft will be reported once boarding is confirmed in the coming hours,\u201d the statement adds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe live in a regional environment where we, the Peruvian State, have no friends. The concept of ‘friendship’ does not exist in international relations; no matter how much one may say ‘we are friendly countries, allied countries,’ it does not exist. What we have are neighbors. Those neighbors, just like us, have interests, and what a state should do is protect and defend its interests,\u201d Moscoso stated in an interview with Exitosa Noticias.<\/span><\/p>\n
