Brazilian construction company Embraer, said today Tuesday the Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho.<\/span><\/p>\n

China Eastern Airlines has begun work on what will be Asia’s largest aircraft maintenance hangar (MRO), scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Located at Shanghai-Pudong Airport, the China Eastern center international aviation maintenance facility is part of a broader initiative, called \u201cfive centers\u201d, which aims to promote the city as a hub of economic, financial, commercial, maritime innovation and scientific-technological, Aeroin published.<\/span><\/p>\n

The total area of \u200b\u200bthe project will be 110,000 m\u00b2, with three hangars and support buildings. The largest of them, Hangar 1, will be 316 meters long, 146 meters deep and will be able to accommodate nine large aircraft. With this structure, it is estimated that the site will generate 1.8 million work hours in MRO services annually.<\/span><\/p>\n
